What is Rejuvenize Peel?

HOW REJUVENIZE WORKS
Chemical peeling is the use of chemical formulations, rather than mechanical abrasion or laser ablation, to exfoliate outer skin layers. A peel dissolves dull, dead skin cells to a controlled depth, allowing them to slough off. When peeling is complete, the complexion looks fresh and glowing.
The Rejuvenize Peel is a proprietary combination of resorcinol, salicylic acid, other naturally-occurring acids, and botanicals. In a procedure that takes only about ten minutes, the solution is carefully applied to cleansed skin. You may feel tingling, prickling, or a sunburn-like flush, but treatment is typically well-tolerated. Wash your face as directed by our skin care professionals six to eight hours after treatment.
Expect skin to have a yellowish tint for a few hours, then some redness. Over the next few days, the skin peels. Dryness and flaking usually peak at days three and four, and is completed in a week. Then, a refreshed complexion emerges – softer, refined, and with a more even tone.
Depending on the conditions you are treating, three to six peels may be needed for full improvement. However, many patients see noticeable change after their first Rejuvenize Peel. Treatment can be repeated as frequently as every four to six weeks for continued skin quality maintenance.
