The humble beginnings of 'Image Dermatology' by Dr. Jeanine Downie Montclair, NJ
Dr. Downie started her career on 18th January 2000.
Image Dermatology is a very diverse practice
Dr. Downie’s cosmetic procedures include state-of-the-art lasers for treating scars, wrinkles, broken blood vessels, and brown spots, and laser hair removal. She uses sclerotherapy for the removal of unsightly leg veins. Voluma, Restylane Lyft, Juvederm, Sculptra, Restylane, and Botox treatments are used in her practice to eliminate facial lines, for lifting, and for wrinkles. Glycolic, salicylic, trichloracetic acid, Vi Peel, Vitalize, and Rejuvenize peels provide facial rejuvenation. She uses the Fraxel laser and the IntraCel to perform total facial and body resurfacing for acne scars, stretch marks, melasma, photoaging, and brown spots. EmSculpt is a first-in-class technology that melts fat by 19% and builds muscle by 16%. This non-invasive machine focuses on toning and sculpting the abdomen, buttocks, and thighs. The LipoCel is a high-frequency ultrasound device that burns fat, and the Vanquish is another non-invasive radiofrequency device that decreases fat. Dr. Downie uses all three of these machines and recommends a minimum of six to eight sessions. Patients see a dramatic decrease in inches. The Exilis is another non-invasive, FDA-approved device that melts fat and tightens skin in four to six treatment sessions. Her newest machine is the Lutronic Lase MD, which incorporates Kera Lase technology to grow hair with the Kerafactor solution, and the Lase MD, a fabulous laser that decreases dark patches, freckles, and fine lines on the face, neck, and body. Kybella, which she calls liposuction in a needle, is a favorite injectable of Dr. Downie’s. She has done clinical trials for this drug and pairs it many times with her non-invasive fat-melting technology. She also performs skin cancer surgery and mole removal. Additionally, Dr. Downie offers her patients a complete line of skin care products chosen for their quality and superior results that are specially formulated for patients’ individualized anti-aging and anti-acne skin care needs.
