It is also present in connective tissues and skin, where it helps retain moisture and elasticity.
The primary difference between the different types of hyaluronic acid fillers is the texture and firmness. Perlane is thicker, making it a good choice for deep folds and areas where the material will be subjected to higher resistance. Restylane is a thinner product made by the same manufacturer. It flows more easily, making it a good choice for detailed facial sculpting.
